Looking Back

2008 is over and done. There is nothing that I can change or do over. I'm satisfied though. It's time to move on. It's time to move into uncharted territory. Its time to progress. 2008 had its ups and downs. It had its fair share of suprise and intrigue but I made it through. So what's new for '09.

Well first off I'm putting on my serious face. I've been making some official steps towards legitimizing my company. So far so good. I've gained some rather solid clients and business is looking like its going the way I need it to go.

I told you about the new baby already. He's doing really well and seems to be a step ahead of every stage. He was lifting his head on his own at 3 weeks and he is now trying to push up and sit up and he's only 3 months. We call him monster because of his extreme tantrum face but overall he is a pretty calm baby.

2009 is all about progress. Its all about growing up. Life is good but it can always be better.

Listening to Jay-Z American Gangsta

What's up fam and peeps. As you expect I'm on my grind and things are really beginning to heat up (that's what happens when you have a lot friction - *Thanks Mr. Wizard). First off I really had to step my game up and get on this Graphic Design hustle because I refuse to let some lot w quality product pass as "graphic design" any longer. I have to do something about it and its either now or never. So I went back to the drawing board (or better yet the chalk board). I'm now taking part in a business course known as ASSETS Toledo that walks you through the baby steps of putting together a business plan and pursuing loans and all that good stuff. So far it is incredible. On top of learning your business ABC's you also receive an amazing opportunity to meet one on one with the movers and shakers themselves right here in Toledo. I had a chance to shake hands with Dan Anderson (think Anderson's) and that was all I needed. I should be done with the class in about April, concluding with a big graduation and a certificate and all that. World domination is only 2 months away.

In other news, I'm just now recovering from the whole L O V E L E T T E R S birthday show which was "cool" (next time I'll go even more big) but I was definitely pleased with the amount of love I got from everyone who was there and everyone who "intended" to come out. Next I'm postponing my fitness class yet again due to an epiphany I had one morning (more details later).

Other than look forward to a MySpace Makeover coming soon and more headlines of yo boy Tigga on the cover of The Source (A man can dream can't he).

In the meantime keep up the support and be sure to let the hate go skate cuz I'm not on it.

L O V E L E T T E R S Urgent Update

Breaking News

I should have done this much earlier being that it goes down in exactly 10 days but there is an update about the Tigga76 : L O V E L E T T E R S showcase that's gonna be on my birthday.

First of all, I'm still gonna have it and I am super appreciative of all the love I've been getting from my friends and family and even complete strangers. The only updates are small one's. The showcase, for one, has now moved venues. It will no longer be at Club Prestige (I'm not even gonna go into that because I'm just going to label it as miscommunication) but it's now gonna be at The Peacock Cafe during CC's Lyricist Lounge on Tuesday, December 4th, 2007. Like I said before, I've been getting so much love from everybody including those in high places.

I've managed to get a few slick little hook ups for the whole show and you just have to be there to see what I mean. I also have a story on the event in The Sojourners Truth Newspaper that was a real good look by Mr. Minister of culture and President / Producer for U.G.E. Mike Hayes aka Mercury Rising. Tigga76 : L O V E L E T T E R S

The big day is almost here in preparation for it I am gathering as many resources as I can to make this the hypest event of the year. According to the Spring Widgets countdown there are 34 days, 8 hours, and 31 minutes left to go and I still have a lot of work to do. I do want to do it up big though. So here is the plan so far...

I am compiling a book of the poems to be featured in the showcase on Blurb.com
I am gathering other talented individuals from all corners of the city to be seen, heard, and experienced. [If you are interested send me a message]
I am trying to raise money so that I can offer a special prize to those that pay attention to my feature [for more details click here]
I am finishing up my all new (hot) material and testing out at local poetry spots. [I haven't started yet but I will soon]
I am organizing all of the Cafe Press gear that I can afford so I can get people hip to my little online clothing store.

I'm also doing a lot more. But when I say I want this to be big then that's what I mean BIG.

STEP it up

I'm almost ready to get back my groove back with the relaunch of STEP FX. If you missed it the first time, don't worry its back again and his time better than ever. I went back to the drawing board and this time I think I have every element I need in order to make this a full experience for the whole family to enjoy. Stay tuned for mor details on that but I would like to thank my Hajami Mommy for showing me the love and support she has in all of my crazy ventures.

On A Roll

When I say I've been doing a lot, then trust me, I have. I know my girlfriend doesn't enjoy all of this extended activity but once the dollars start rolling in then she will fully understand what its all about. Anyway, I am now the proud owner of 3 blogs that all serve their different purposes and intents.

The one you are reading now [Tigga76] is kind of like the hub of operations for all that it is that I do.
The five o five [5:05] is an experiment and discipline exercise that you just must read to believe.
The Sublime Space Blog [sublimespace] is where all things related to asublimecreationdesignstudios is located (including news, developments, collaborations and so forth)
and there is asublimecreationdesignstudios itself [A Sublime Creation]. This one is the mother of them all and I am striving to do a full overhaul of its content and purpose so "I can make it do what it do," if you know what I mean.

Those are mostly the blogs and other online things that I am focusing all of my energies into at the present moment. There are other online places where I frequent which include:

35 days and counting...

I just looked at the cool little widget thing I made at springwidgets.com and was shocked to that it said there are only 35 days 22 hour 24 minutes and 17 seconds left before my big show date. For those that know me you know that that date also hold other significance in the fact that it is my the date of my 27th birthday. I figured what better way to gather all your friends and "wanna be" friends into one place and celebrate your big Two Seven then to throw down some of the illest poetry they have never heard. Serious ya'll, I'm coming out brand new and there ain't no stoppin' it. I wanna blow the spot away. It's been so long that I'm not sure if I remember how to do it but trust me I'll have it together by the day fa'sho.

Back on my grind cousin.

I just realized that in order to live a good life (which back when I was growing up meant you "was eating good") you're gonna need a little paper (*hood translation = money). So I've decided that I'm gonna stop sitting around and waiting for it to drop from the sky and I'm gonna get off my lazy behind and chase it (literally). I wake up everyday a 5am and struggle to get out of bed and go through an hour long exercise routine (and this is all before the sun comes up). After my workout I shower, get dressed, make sure my daughter is dressed correctly then I'm off on my grind. This is what I do on the daily and I hope that it pays off. Better yet I know it will. Well I just wanted to test out my blog skills and see if everything still worked the way I remembered. I'm off to bed now. It's only 9:07pm but hey I gotta wake up early.

To quote my boy Clemme, "I'm up early runnin' with the money so I skip the chase"

All Falls Down: The Rock Bottom Hollow Man Effect

Lies, liars, lying. I hate them all equally. But what can I do? The world is full of them. I just got through with a bit of an adventure tonight. I'll spare you the dull details and stick to the important stuff. Now, don't get me confused with a gossip or a drama king because I actually see blogging as a therapeutic outlet. Seriously though, I feel better already. If I wasn't then this entry in itself would not exist because just one our ago I wanted to smash and destroy any and everything in sight (yes including my precious Tiffany [Tiffany is the name of my computer for anyone's information]). Back to the point though, Lies, Liars, and lying are the only things in the world that could destroy me. I feel that they honestly will lead me to my death somehow. And I don't even mean in any abstract sort of Freudian way but in true vivid physical manifestation of something that could harm me beyond just simply killing me but actually breaking me.
I have lived most of my life without fear. I stood up to bullies, dogs, girls, and even god himself when I was younger. I believed that me being a part of the world, the world could not itself harm me. For a while that is what I truly believed. It almost became a creed I lived by. But over time I began to develop FEAR. I was never afraid of anything. I honestly believed that I was a super hero that could fly and everything (believe me I tried) but the older I got the more odvious it became that I did have FEAR. I still wasn't afraid of the bullies, dogs, or god, maybe a few girls, but I had a few things that could break me down. Lies was the biggest fear of mine. I discovered one day that the world was full of them. Santa Claus; The Easter Bunny; The Tooth Fairy; Where babies come from; Why the earth turns; Tupac being dead; and so on and so on.
So now we've set the stage so lets get to the point. I messed up. Maybe one day I will tell the full story. But it has to deal with lies and relationships. They just don't mix.

Well here I go again with this blog thing. I have tried it 3 unsuccessful times before and this time I feel tat I am actually ready to share my inner most personal thoughts and opinions with the world. Think about it though the world can be pretty intimidating so sharing that info is a bit of a hurdle to bound.
